Sightglass Coffee Roasters takes its name from the 'sightglass,' the viewing window on our vintage PROBAT coffee roaster. This window exposes the complex and delicate process of roasting coffee, a journey we believe should be shared. We are committed to transparency, believing that knowing the story behind your coffee—where it was grown, how it was processed, and who handled it along the way—is a powerful link from the cup to the wider world.

We offer three unique coffees, each showcasing the diverse flavors and stories behind the beans:

• Ethiopia, Yetatebe Shakisso (Organic):

  • This fully-washed coffee, from the Guji highlands, features heirloom varieties renowned for their exceptional quality.  

  • Sightglass has sourced this coffee for over a decade, witnessing its consistent complexity and acidity.

  • Taste Notes: Jasmine, Bergamot, Lemon Custard

  • Roast Profile: Light-Medium

• Banner Dark Blend:

  • A seasonally rotating blend of fully washed Central and South American coffees, chosen for their deep, full-bodied sweetness.  

  • This blend is crafted for those who enjoy a richer, darker flavor profile.

  • Taste Notes: Dark chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla, and maple, with a heavier body and lower acidity.

  • Roast Profile: Medium-dark

• Colombia, La Magdalena:

  • Sourced from farms in Tolima, Huila, and Nariño, along the Magdalena River Valley in Colombia.  

  • This coffee reflects our long-standing relationships with producers in this region.

  • Taste Notes: Toffee, Concord Grape, and Red Apple  

  • Roast Level: Light-Medium

• Organic Blueboon Blend:

  • BLUEBOON is our well-balanced, versatile blend that celebrates simple, approachable flavors of milk chocolate, citrus, and stone fruits. 

  • We change the components seasonally, so the coffees are always fresh and the balance of sweetness, body, and acidity is just right.

  • Taste Notes: Milk Chocolate, Mandarin, Honeysuckle

  • Roast Level: Light-Medium

• Owl's Howl Organic Espresso:

  • ORGANIC OWL'S HOWL ESPRESSO // While components and flavors change seasonally, this espresso roast invariably delivers a balanced and refined experience. 

  • We rotate the components that comprise this blend throughout the year to ensure optimal freshness, giving us the opportunity to showcase beautiful coffees that pair well together.

  • Taste Notes: Cacao Nib, Stone Fruit, Candied Orange Peel

  • Roast Level: Medium-dark

• Toketee Organic Blend:

  • TOKETEE is our take on the classic coffee house drip blend, showcasing carefully curated, seasonally rotating coffees from Central and South America. 

  • We rotate the components that comprise this blend throughout the year to ensure optimal freshness, giving us the opportunity to showcase beautiful coffees that pair well together.

  • TASTE NOTES // Apricot, Cacao Nib, Caramel

  • ROAST PROFILE // Medium-dark
